Each person on your policy can tailor their cover to suit their needs by choosing the base cover, selecting their own excess amount, and picking any of the five additional options.

Excess options
Keep your premiums in check without sacrificing your cover by adding a range of excess options. Just $500 excess can get you a 25% discount on your premiums.
Application assessed at application time
Your health history is collected upfront, which gives you more certainty about what you can claim for so you can have peace of mind when it comes to your health.**
Immediate cover
Your cover starts immediately once accepted (subject to waiting periods), or you can choose to start on any date up to six weeks later.*
Non-PHARMAC drug cover**
Some insurers offer the added benefit of cover for non-PHARMAC funded drugs which are Medsafe approved.
